Profile: Sana Contractor - Fellow, Center for Health and Social Justice

Sana Contractor is a public health scholar and practitioner based out of New Delhi, India. She is an independent consultant and a fellow at the Centre for Health and Social Justice, New Delhi. Sana works closely with social movements and civil society networks to build evidence for advocacy on issues of inequity in health. Her research interests are in the areas of sexual and reproductive rights, violence and discrimination in health care, community-led accountablity and implementation science. At present, since India has declared a lockdown, she is involved in relief work in delhi helping those at the margins get access to health care, food and other essential services through networks of telemedicine services, doctors, NGOs, individuals, and where possible the government.
