Katherine Kennedy - International Consultant, Climate Change

Katherine is an International Consultant specialising in climate change, environmental peace-building, coastal and flood risk management and also the Blue Economy. She is an Environmental Scientist and holds an International MA in Conflict, Peace and Security from UNITAR. This is the UN Peace-Keeping training programme. Katherine was previously Head of Climate Change at The Commonwealth Secretariat. Also, Director of the Strategic Development Programme at the UK Marine Agency. Katherine works globally, home is in the UK.

Perhaps unsurprisingly considering the season, Cyclone Harold has hit the Pacific. This week I nearly Furloughed myself. I work as an International Consultant. I am the only person on the payroll of my micro-enterprise.
