Catia Cecilia Confortini - Associate Professor

Confortini, Catia Cecilia is Associate Professor of Peace and Justice Studies at Wellesley College, Massachusetts. Her writing explores the contributions of women's peace activism to peace studies and feminist theorisings of peace and violence. She has co-edited (with Tiina Vaittinen) Gender, Global Health, and Violence (Rowman & Littlefield International, 2019), and with Tarja Väyrynen, Élise Féron, Swati Parashar, and Peace Medie The Handbook of Feminist Peace Research (Routledge, forthcoming). With Natália Maria Félix de Souza Catia also edits the Conversations Section of IFJP. She was a Fulbright Finland Foundation Scholar at the Tampere Peace Research Institute in fall 2019.
